Filming Requirements

Previous successes make Tangipahoa Parish the perfect location for filming. Community support creates an environment in which the ease of doing business is only trumped by the fantastic location choices. Listed below are the requirements for any company preparing to shoot within the boundaries of Tangipahoa Parish.

1. Notify the Tangipahoa Parish Convention and Visitors Bureau at 985-542-7520.
2. Provide Certificate of Insurance reflecting no less than $1,000,000 in coverage to location property owner.
3. At least one City/Town Police Officer or Sheriff’s Deputy are required to be on-set for the duration of filming. Officers representing the local city/town are required for filming within municipalities and Tangipahoa Parish Sheriffs Department is to be utilized for any filming outside the municipalities.
